The
Class T PSU is simply the best power supply for the Class T 2020 Amp
kit or of the original T-Amp. Designed for quality, it uses low ESR capacitors and fast recovery schottky diodes, in order to produce a very clean DC voltage at 1bout 13,7 V, pushing the amps to its best performance.
The PSU kit comes with all needed components, fully assembled and tested. All you need externally is a good 15V AC toroidal transformer.

the power scales up with the power supply voltage, yet at 12 V DC only

The TubeHead is a true tube based preamplifier. It has a very high output current capability (up to 200 mA per channel) , so it can be used a wonderful headphone amplifier.
Most important: the Tubalizer needs only a simple standard 12Vcc regulated power supply. No dangerous high voltages, no need to use heavy and costly transformers. Just a good quality stabilized power supply will do.
The potentiometer on the board is really a volume control (so it's different with respect to the Tubalizer, where the pot was actually a "tone control" used to change the operating point of the tube and consequently its "sound").
